Grey’s Lady
Book one in the Carte Blanche Series

Seeking sexual excitement and conquest, poor but beautiful Beth seduces wealthy merchant prince Grey Sexton, only to find herself the pursued as he seeks to own her body and soul.
In Philadelphia, PA 1812

Flouting the moral standards of Jeffersonian America, temptress Beth McConnell lets no man touch her heart. Her motto is love them once and leave them burning.
But when she boldly seduces Grey Sexton, a self-controlled merchant prince from New York, she finds herself too fascinated by his ice-over-fire nature to stay away. His possessive determination to own her, body and soul, threatens to expose her secret erotic life to public shame.
But Beth will only surrender her love to a man she can trust. And Grey's materialistic approach to relationships leaves her little reason to believe he can ever give her what she truly needs.
For these two cynical yet lonely people, can deep sexual intimacy work a miracle and lead to the opening of their hearts?
Heat Level: EROTIC 18 + ONLY

The sequel to Grey’s Lady is titled White Lace and Promises
 and is scheduled
for release Dec 26, 2011.

  1. I've read the first chapter and absolutely loved it. I love to be swept away to another time and place where people lived, loved and were finding their way to each other. There's something about Historical Romance books that just consumes me. I love, love, love the settings, the clothes, the balls and sizzling sex scenes.

The reviews of "Grey's Lady" and the cover are awesome.

What I would love to see in romance books would be some illustrations. Something that we can look at and drool over throughout the story.

I would love to win a copy and follow Beth and Grey's story to completion.

    Many thanks for this opportunity.

  2. You know how much I think of this book, so here's my entry. I thought I followed your blog already, but now I definitely do. :) What would I like to see more of? I think my answer would have to be more of different time periods. Regency and Georgian are great, but a few other periods would be great too. And more American, like yours. Thanks for the chance to win!

  4. One of the reasons I read so few historicals is because I am not a fan of heroines who accept their place as second class citizens. I like strong minded, independent heroines, and unfortunately they are as rare as hen's teeth in historical romances. When I find one I hold onto it like gold.

  12. I do love historicals and erotica, so an erotic historical is a great idea. I would love to see more of these. Also, more paranormal historicals would be great, especially if they are erotic. I would love to read this book.

  14. I love historical romance stories. I don't remember ever feeling that a story I read was lacking anything. Maybe just more authors who write historical romance stories. This one sounds a little different but interesting. I would love to read it.

  17. I love historical romances. I would not change anything about them. I hear some people say that the woman were treated as second class citizens and had to bow down to the men, but in some of these books you can find the strong willed heroine that stands her ground. I love the courage they had.

  20. Thanks everyone for stopping by and for all the great answers.

Reading Mind, what kind of action are you talking about? Keep in mind, you're speaking to a erotic romance novelist! But do you mean like more action and adventure like the good old fashioned bodice rippers of the 70s and early 80s?

    Natasha

  21. Hi! I'm following on GFC(Penny W) and, unfortunately, well over the age of consent! I love rich historical romances, but a lot of them are pretty tame, so I do appreciate the more erotic ones! The steamier, the better! Thanks for the opportunity!

  23. What do I want to see more of in a historical romance? I love a strong heroine who is able to remain loyal, who acts without deceit with a strong plot-driven story and steaminess. Must have my dose of smut. ;)

Thank you for the opportunity to win your book.

    Happy Reading and Writing,

  25. Love the sounds of this story, Natasha! As for what I'd love to see more of in historicals, I do appreciate new settings/time periods, or fresh takes on those already used. I do love not-conventionally beautiful people as the main characters.
