Lucky Love Blog Hop (Mar 15-18)

Contest Ended.

Welcome to my post on the Lucky in Love Blog Hop. Let's start out with a big thank you to author Carrie Ann Ryan for all her hard work organizing and hosting these hops.

I think TRISTAN AND ISOLDE (2006) is a great movie to watch for St. Patrick's Day. Mostly for the scenery.

A loyal knight unites the fractious English against the oppressive Irish, but is deeply conflicted after the woman he loves is compelled to marry his beloved King.

But for some reason, I also think of ONLY THE LONELY with John Candy, Ally Seedy and Maureen O' Hara makes a good movie to watch on St. Patrick's Day. (Even though it is set in the USA.)

Danny, a cop, meets and falls in love with Theresa. They get engaged, despite sneaking around behind his mother's back, but when push comes to shove, he can't quite quit worrying about his mother long enough to be any kind of lover to Theresa.

What about you, do you have any favorite St. Patrick's Day movies?

Almost 300 bloggers have giveaways and posts about those men we love!

But that's not all....

We have TWO grand prizes. You as a reader can go to EACH blog and comment with your email address and be entered to win. Yep, you can enter over 200 times!

Now what are those prizes?

1st Grand Prize: A $100 Amazon or B&N Gift Card

2nd Grand Prize: A Swag Pack that contains paperbacks, ebooks, 50+ bookmarks, cover flats, magnets, pens, coffee cozies, and more!

HER MYSTERY DUKE, Coming Soon.

A MEASURED RISK

"Jonathon was pure male and super hot...a perfect mix of passion, dominance and submission."

"...bloody brilliant. I can’t even begin to praise it enough. From the moment I opened my kindle and began reading, I had to finish. The lead, Lady Cranfield or Anne was such a wonderful character...Jonathon Lloyd, the Earl of Ruel...was perfect. He was exactly what Anne needed. The way his protectiveness is portrayed is believable...Jonathon was pure male and super hot...a perfect mix of passion, dominance and submission...Well written and wonderful escapism.
A highly recommended read." ~ Reviewed by Best Selling Author Sam Crescent

Wonderful erotic romance!
"I absolute loved this story. It's rare to find a real, sweet love story in a BDSM romance. This one's definitely a keeper, something to read a second time. Looking forward to read more of those! ;) Review By Author Deborah Court

A too-die-for alpha hero

"I wanted to recommend a super-hot erotic romance that I just read: 'A Measured Risk' by Natasha Blackthorne.

It's set in the Regency period, has a too-die-for alpha hero who loves to dominate the heroine, and an interesting storyline. I really enjoyed this book and ripped right through it--I love how the author writes. She puts you right into the characters' heads and bodies, so you feel what they feel.

This was definitely one of the best erotic romances I've read this year, and I've already recommended it to several people. Jonathan Lloyd, the Earl of Ruel, is my new Christian Grey!" ~ Author Dana Delamar, posted on my Facebook profile, Wednesday October 10, 2012.

A MEASURED RISK features a shy, intellectual, strong-willed widow with real life curves (Rubenesque/BBW) and a protective, possessive Dominant, alpha male hero. This is a story of Dominance and submission with light BDSM, emotional healing, trust and love.

A Measured Risk is an Erotic Historical Romance. This means it contains graphic sexual language. It also means that there is a greater focus on the development of the romance through eroticism than in Mainstream/Traditional Steamy or Spicy Romance.

  31. Hi Natasha!

I loved your interview with Carrie Ann and you didn't ask but my favorite St. Patrick's Day movie was Finian's Rainbow! Most of your followers probably aren't familiar with it because it came out in 1968 and Fred Astair played Finian who along with his daughter Sharon and while looking for gold they run into not only leprechaun but also some corrupt politicians! In the end all ends well - with the help of a little spell from the leprechaun!

I already have read A Measured Risk but I'd love to win a copy of your novella Waltz of Seduction which I missed when it was released!

  52. What a great giveaway hop! I have yet to be lucky in love but I'm working on it. My favorite love book is "Outlander" by Diana Gabaldon. Jamie Fraser is amazing and beautiful. I enjoy St. Patty's Day and this year I'm spending it with my best friend. We're going to two Irish Pubs and also some dance clubs. I am also wearing green and am not a fan of getting pinched. I'm not Irish either, but many people think I am because my hair is red, my eyes green and my name is Meghan, but I'm not at all. I won't be telling anybody that, however… let them believe I'm Irish.
