  5. Oh man, Tahoe <3 I spent a weekend there during an internship. A few of us drove out, got a cheap room, and lazed by the lake. It's so serene there. The sunshine, all the greenery, the lake, the mountains, the *snow* on the mountains. I really want to go back again. Even with families there, the kids were calmer than you'd see at the beach. I think the serenity affects everyone there. That, or the icy water if you (like me) try swimming shocks you into silence :-P
